Feb 1, 2012
The Florida Police Chiefs Association (“FPCA”) has selected Colodny Fass to handle its lobbying and governmental consulting needs in Tallahassee.
The Firm will represent the FPCA before Florida’s executive and legislative branch, as well as work with the FPCA on a statewide basis to educate FPCA members on the organization’s legislative agenda and goals.
“We are confident Colodny Fass will work closely with us in the development of a sound legislative advocacy program, which is paramount among our 2012 goals,” FPCA Executive Director Amy Mercer explained. “We will work with the Firm to involve our membership in the legislative process and coordinate our public safety objectives with like-minded organizations.”
The FPCA seeks to continuously enhance law enforcement professionalism in Florida by providing a unified voice for police chiefs through serving as the public face of law enforcement leadership, and providing a forum for executive-level education, development and exchange of ideas concerning law enforcement and public safety.
For nearly 40 years, Colodny Fass has successfully handled the substantial legal interests of a variety of public and private entities in the areas of government relations; commercial litigation; administrative, transactional and regulatory law; employment law and the protection of vulnerable populations.
