Florida Office of Insurance Regulation to Update Financial Examination and Market Conduct Reimbursement Expenses Rule

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation is in process of updating reimbursement rates for per diem and other expenses incurred during financial, rate, and market conduct examinations.
A Rule Development Workshop has been set for March 21, 2018 at 10 a.m. (ET) should it be requested in writing by a member of the public.
The affected Rule, 69O-138.002, F.A.C., is entitled “Financial, Rate, and Market Conduct Examination Reimbursement Expenses.” The proposed amendment would update the rates of reimbursement for examiners to the current edition of the relevant Administrative Policy and Procedure.
The March 21 meeting, which will be held in Tallahassee, will also be available for participation via teleconference.
