Florida Office of Insurance Regulation To Hold October 21 Workshop On Proposed Changes To Financial Report Audit Rule

The Florida Department of Financial Services, Office of Insurance Regulation (“OIR”) has issued a Notice of Rulemaking Development regarding proposed changes to the following Rule relating to insurer financial report audit requirements:
- 69O-137.002: Annual Audited Financial Reports
Amendments to the Rule are expected to improve the OIR’s ability to audit the financial conditions of insurers.
A draft of the proposed amended Rule text is attached.
If requested in writing and not deemed unnecessary by the agency head, a Rule Development Workshop will be held at the date, time and place shown below:
