Rule 69O-203.204(4)(b), F.A.C.
The above Rules provide for the use of the Universal Standardized Data Letter (“UDL”) form and Instructions. This is an electronic form all Life and Health carriers and Health Maintenance Organizations must fill out to submit filings via the I-File application on the OIR’s website.
The Rules are being revised to update the UDL form and instructions (please see attached). Many of the revisions to the UDL form are being made so that the data currently collected in filings via Word and Excel, will also be collected through this electronic form. The data from the electronic form will populate our database and provide a source of information from which required reports can be drawn. The changes are scheduled to be deployed no later than 8 a.m. EST on May 24th, 2012.
