Florida Insurance Consumer Advocate’s Workers’ Compensation Advisory Group To Hold February 25 Inaugural Meeting

The Florida Insurance Consumer Advocate’s Workers’ Compensation Advisory Group (“Advisory Group”) is scheduled to hold its inaugural meeting on February 25, 2010 in Orlando.
As part of the meeting, invited panel guests will hold a roundtable-style discussion on the following topics:
- Medical care conflicts
- Evidence-based medicine
- Alternative dispute resolution
- Lack of choice of provider
- Professional Employer Organizations
Florida Insurance Consumer Advocate Sean Shaw proceeded with forming the Advisory Group after a December 2009 exploratory meeting and industry feedback.
