  • Florida Division of Insurance Agents and Agency Services Proposed Rule Hearing, 9:30 a.m. Proposed Rules would repeal the requirement (and exemptions from that requirement) that Florida insurance-related licensees have a photograph on their insurance license identification cards and also permit licensees to print the cards electronically.   • Florida Division of Worker’s Compensation Rule Development Workshop; 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Proposed Rules 69L-7.020: Florida Workers’ Compensation Health Care Provider Reimbursement Manual and 69L-7.100: Florida Workers’ Compensation Reimbursement Manual for Ambulatory Surgical Centers would adopt new versions of the manuals and implement reimbursement rates for health care providers and ambulatory surgical centers for services performed for injured workers pursuant to Section 440.13, Florida Statutes.  To view the meeting notice, click here.

Monday, September 20

  • Florida Division of Insurance Agent and Agency Services Rule Development Workshop; 9:30 a.m.  Proposed Rule 69B-210.005 would define the term “unlawful inducement” and provides examples of prohibited acts and practices that are general unlawful inducements to purchase insurance.  A secondary workshop on similar title insurance issues will be held at 2:30 p.m. for proposed Rule 69B-210.010.

      • Rule amendments would reduce the minimum premium deficiency reserve requirement, subject to certain conditions ensuring adequacy of reserves 
    • 69O-162.203: Adoption of 2001 Commissioners Standard Ordinary (CSO) Preferred Mortality Tables for Determining Reserve Liabilities for Ordinary Life Insurance.  To view the meeting notice and proposed Rule text, click here
      • Rule amendments would explain the conditions for use of the preferred class structure mortality tables and permit use of the tables for policies issued prior to the adoption date of the original Rule
    • 69O-138.047: Description of Actuarial Memorandum Including an Asset Adequacy Analysis and Regulatory Asset Adequacy Issues Summary.  To view the meeting notice and proposed Rule text, click here.
      • This proposed Rule would add an additional requirement to the Regulatory Asset Adequacy Issues Summary as a result of changes to Rules 69O-162.203 and 69O-164.020.
