Monday, October 11
- Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation (“DWC”) Proposed Rule Hearing; 9:00 a.m. Proposed amendment to Rule 69L-6.007 adopts revised workers’ compensation notice posters that employers with coverage are required to display in their places of business under Section 440.40, Florida Statutes. - DWC Proposed Rule Hearing; 1:00 p.m. Proposed amendment to Rule 69L-3.025 adopts updated English and Spanish versions of workers’ compensation informational brochures that carriers must mail to employers and injured employees under Section 440.185(4), Florida Statutes. - Florida Division of Risk Management Proposed Rule Hearing; 9:00 a.m.
- Proposed Rule 69H-1.003 authorizes a form for use by State agencies and universities that captures more accurate and detailed information for developing proper insurance ratings and premiums for buildings insured by the State of Florida. - Proposed amendment to Rule 69H-2.008 adds language to Form DFS-D0-1407, entitled “Authorization to Release,” that explicitly states that the medical authorization release relates to a workers’ compensation claim. To view the hearing notice, click here.

- Rule amendments would explain the conditions for use of the preferred class structure mortality tables and permit use of the tables for policies issued prior to the adoption date of the original Rule

- This proposed Rule would add an additional requirement to the Regulatory Asset Adequacy Issues Summary as a result of changes to Rules 69O-162.203 and 69O-164.020.
