  • Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation (“DWC”) Proposed Rule Hearing; 9:00 a.m.  Proposed Rules 69L-7.020, “Florida Workers’ Compensation Health Care Provider Reimbursement Manual,” and 69L-7.100, “Florida Workers’ Compensation Reimbursement Manual for Ambulatory Surgical Centers (“ASC”) relate to reference materials and medical billing process guidelines.  To view the hearing notice, click here

  • DWC Proposed Rule Hearing; 1:30 p.m.  Amendments to Rule 69L-6.021 would adopt updated and revised construction class codes, descriptions and definitions through February 1, 2011 in the Florida exception pages in the National Council on Compensation Insurance (“NCCI”) Basic Manual and the NCCI Scopes® of Basic Manual Classifications for purpose of determining necessary workers’ compensation insurance coverage requirements.  The proposed Rule also would define when an employer is engaged in the construction industry.  To view the hearing notice, click here.
