Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund Begins Insurer Reporting Requirements and Responsibilities Rulemaking

Florida’s State Board of Administration has scheduled a Rule Development Hearing for October 24, 2017 to discuss proposed amendments to Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (“FHCF”) Rule 19-8.029, F.A.C., entitled “Insurer Reporting Requirements and Responsibilities.”

The proposed Rule will address insurer exposure and loss reporting requirements for the 2018-2019 FHCF Contract Year, along with insurer responsibilities.
