FLORIDA HURRICANE CAT FUND DOCUMENT UPDATES

The Florida Hurricane Catastrophe Fund (“Fundâ€) is structured as a tax exempt trust fund under the direction of the State Board of Administration. The Fund protects and advances Florida’s interest in maintaining insurance capacity in the state, by providing reimbursements to insurers for a portion of their catastrophic hurricane losses.
To accomplish this, the Fund, among other things, performs exposure examinations and has recently revised its Exposure Examination Operations Questionnaire and Required Records Checklist. For your convenience, links to these revised documents are provided:
