Florida Governor Rick Scott Appoints Three to Twelfth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission

Governor Rick Scott Appoints Three toTwelfth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission

Tallahassee, Fla. – Today, Governor Rick Scott announced the appointments of Carly Lambert, Bonnie Lee Polk and William Robinson to the Twelfth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission.

Carly Lambert, 31, of Parrish, has practiced with Price Hamilton Price Chtd. since 2011. Previously, she practiced with Heritage Law Group from 2008 to 2011; with Morrell, Watson, Southwell from 2007 to 2008; and with Fowler White Boggs Banker from 2006 to 2007. Lambert received bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Florida. She succeeds W. Earl Varn and is appointed for a term beginning September 26, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016.

Bonnie Lee Polk, 48, of Sarasota, has practiced with Williams Parker Harrison Dietz and Getzen since 2000. Previously, she served as a child-support enforcement attorney for the Manatee County Clerk of Court from 1995 to 1996 and as a staff attorney with the Twentieth Judicial Circuit from 1996 to 1997. Polk received a bachelor’s degree from Lynn University and a law degree from Stetson College of Law.  She succeeds Michael E. Siegel and is appointed for a term beginning September 26, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016. She is appointed from the list of nominees submitted by the Florida Bar.

William Robinson, 36, of Bradenton, is a principal and vice president of Blalock Walters P.A., where he has practiced since 2003. Previously, he practiced with Grimes Goebel P.A. from 2001 to 2003. Robinson received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame and a law degree from Stetson College of Law. He succeeds Adam Mohammadbhoy and is appointed for a term beginning September 26, 2012, and ending July 1, 2016.
