Florida Governor Rick Scott Appoints Four to Board of Employee Leasing Companies

In a news release issued today, September 4, 2013, Governor Rick Scott announced the following appointments and re-appointments to the Florida Board of Employee Leasing Companies (“Board”):
- Keith Reeves, 56, of Lakewood Ranch, is the co-owner of Century Employer Organization LLC. He succeeds Celeste Dockery and is appointed for a term beginning September 4, 2013, and ending October 31, 2015.
- Philip Stamatyades, 48, of Homestead, is the president of Gridline Enterprises Inc. He fills a vacant seat and is appointed for a term beginning September 4, 2013, and ending October 31, 2016.
- Abram Finkelstein, 50, of Weston, is the president of Stafflink Outsourcing Inc. He is reappointed for a term beginning September 4, 2013, and ending October 31, 2015.
- John Jones, 45, of Valrico, is the former president of Accord Human Resources. He is reappointed for a term beginning September 4, 2013, and ending October 31, 2016.
The appointments are subject to confirmation by the Florida Senate.
The Board is responsible for licensing and regulating employee leasing companies. It meets regularly to consider applications for licensure, review disciplinary cases, and conduct informal hearings relating to licensure and discipline. The Board also engages in rulemaking and other general business as necessary.
