The Florida Division of Workers’ Compensation (“DWC”) has submitted a Notice of Development of Rulemaking for Rule 69L-5.216, F.A.C. entitled “Provision of Benefits and Safe Working Environment by Self-Insurers.” To view the proposed Rule text, click here. To view the Notice, click here.
The proposed amendment to the Rule would clarify when Form SI-19 (Certification of Servicing for Self-Insurers) is due to the DWC or the Florida Self-Insurers Guaranty Association for current and former self-insurers that contract with Qualified Servicing Entities for more than one year.
If requested in writing, a Rule Development Workshop will be held on August 7, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. at 2012 Capital Circle Southeast, Hartman Building, Room 102, Tallahassee, Florida.
