Jun 9, 2011

The Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology (“FCHLPM”) is scheduled to meet on June 16, 2011 to continue reviewing for approval models submitted under the FCHLPM 2009 Standards to Determine Acceptability.  The models set to be reviewed are EQECAT, Inc.’s EQECAT Florida Hurricane Model 2011a and the Florida Public Hurricane Loss Model – Version 4.0.

At meetings earlier this month, the FCHLPM approved two other models — Applied Research Associates, Inc.’s HurLoss Version 5.0 and Risk Management Solutions, Inc.’s RiskLink 11.0.

The FCHLPM is also scheduled to take up general business, including a request for acceptability from AIR Worldwide of its Atlantic Tropical Cyclone Model v12.0.1, CLASIC/2 v13.
