Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology Begins Three-Day Meeting This Morning; Hurricane Loss Model Acceptability, Flood Standards Review on Agenda

The Florida Commission on Hurricane Loss Projection Methodology (“FCHLPM”) begins a three-day series of day-long meetings in Tallahassee this morning at 8:30 a.m. spanning June 2, 3 and 4, 2015.

Starting with a review of the Florida Public Hurricane Loss Model Version 6.1 this morning, the first two days will be devoted to reviewing hurricane loss projection models to determine Acceptability under the FCHLPM 2013 Standards.

The closed portions of these meetings are: 

    • June 2, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
    • June 3, 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
    • June 3, 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. 

    On June 4, the FCHLPM’s Flood Standards Committee will meet to address meteorological/hydrological, vulnerability and statistical flood standards.  To view the agenda, click here.
