Florida Citizens Property Insurance Inspector General Recruitment and Selection Committee Narrows Field of 88 Applicants to 13
Jul 30, 2013
The Recruitment and Selection Committee (“Committee”) for Citizens Property Insurance Corporation’s (“Citizens”) Inspector General convened today, July 30, 2013, to review a list of 88 applicants, all of whom were recommended by at least one Committee member.
The Committee decided to interview 13 of those candidates.
A draft of the interview questions will be released to the public. However, the Committee members requested the opportunity to review and deliberate on them before they are finalized in time for September 5-the first of a four-day schedule of interviews.
The Committee decided to allow the candidates who are not in the local Florida area to interview in person, on the phone, or by video conference. Of note, the physical interview location has been changed to Room 301 in the Capitol Building in Tallahassee.
Additional Committee meetings are scheduled for August 12, 15 and 16. A “close out” meeting is scheduled for September 4, followed by the final Committee meeting on September 16.
