Sep 1, 2010
The Florida 2010 Primary Elections were held on August 24, 2010.
To provide a useful tool in following this year’s political campaign developments, Colodny Fass has prepared an outline of all Florida Cabinet and State Legislative races, as well as Florida’s United States Senate and Congressional races. The attached report specifically updates fundraising totals in each race, as well as documents the Primary winners.
Another report with new fundraising totals will be sent out the after the next mandatory reporting date, September 17, 2010.
While candidates have been spending record dollars for their campaigns, the statewide turnout was approximately 22 percent. While this number seems low, it is typical of non-presidential primary elections. However, Florida Panhandle counties posted stronger turnouts of 30 to 50 percent.
