Governor Crist Makes Appointments to the Board of Directors, Workforce Florida Inc.

TALLAHASSEE – Governor Charlie Crist today announced the following reappointment and appointments:

• David Armstrong, 51, of Fort Lauderdale, president, Broward Community College, succeeding Michele Roberts, appointed for a term beginning July 14, 2008, and ending July 6, 2011.

• James “Jim” Baiardi, 44, of Miami, vice president of chapters, Florida Police Benevolent Association, reappointed for a term beginning July 14, 2008, and ending July 6, 2009.

• Daniel “Dan” Baldwin, 49, of New Port Richey, management consultant, Baldwin & Associates LLC, succeeding Floyd Sloan, appointed for a term beginning July 14, 2008, and ending March 21, 2010.

• Robert “Bob” Beck, 64, of Bradenton, owner and president, Staffing Professionals Inc., succeeding Beatrice Battistoni, appointed for a term beginning July 14, 2008, and ending March 21, 2011.
