Fasano Amendment Filed to SB 2860–Homeowners Bill of Rights

An amendment has been filed by Senator Mike Fasano to Senate Bill 2860, Senator Jeff Atwater’s property insurance bill.

The amendment would modify the Unfair Insurance Trade Practices Act to require insurers or affiliates that write personal residential policies in other states to offer the same policies in Florida.

Senate Bill 2860, which must be read one additional time on the Senate Floor (third reading) for final passage, could be amended during that time.
