DFS Rule Workshop: My Safe Florida Home

 

The Department of Financial Services (“DFS”) recently held a Proposed Rule Development Workshop on Proposed Rules 69J-7.004, and 69J-7.005, F.A.C. relating to the My Safe Florida Home Program (“Program”).

Proposed Rule 69J-7.004 addresses the qualifications and procedures relating to contractors participating in the Program.

Proposed Rule 69J-7.005 regards adoption of two forms for use by homeowners applying for grants under the Program.

The full text of each Proposed Rule is attached.

There was no public comment on the Proposed Rules during the scheduled workshop.
