Developmental Disabilities Compact Workgroup and Consumer Advisory Workgroup Meeting
The Financial Services Commission, Office of Insurance Regulation has issued a Notice of Meeting/Workshop Hearing announcing the first meeting of the Developmental Disabilities Compact Workgroup and the related Consumer Advisory Workgroup.
Pursuant to the "Window of Opportunity Act," Section 624.916, F.S., the Office of Insurance Regulation was charged with convening a workgroup by August 31, 2008 to develop and execute a compact relating to insurance coverage and access to services for persons with developmental disabilities. To comply with this requirement, the first meeting was scheduled for August 22; however, it was cancelled due to inclement weather.
