Demotech Florida Property Insurer July Ratings Reflect Recent Financial Stability Upgrades

As part of its ongoing review and analysis of Florida’s property and casualty insurance market, Demotech, Inc. released its Financial Stability Ratings for Florida property insurance companies as of July, 2009.
Insurers reporting financial stability enhanced by net catastrophe retention reduction, infusion of additional capital, the purchase of additional reinsurance or combinations of all three factors were able to maintain or upgrade their ratings.
