To familiarize insurers and interested third parties with its expectations related to the rating of Florida property insurers, Demotech prepared a discussion document to address selected components of its quarterly and annual review process and criteria.
The document, entitled “Guidance on Financial Stability Ratings® and Catastrophe Reinsurance Program Reporting for Florida Property Insurers,” is attached for review.
Demotech notes that its quarterly review process is not limited to criteria surrounding the appropriateness of a company’s catastrophe reinsurance program.
