Court Stays Final Order Suspending Allstate

The First District Court of Appeals in Florida has granted Allstate’s Motion for Immediate Relief from the Office of Insurance Regulation’s (“OIR”) order prohibiting it from writing any new business in Florida.

The OIR will have ten days to show cause to reinstate the order pending final disposition of the appeal.
