Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of Insurance Commissioner Sharon P. Clark Issues Advisory for Insurers, Producers and Adjusters in Wake of February 28-29, 2012 and March 2-3, 2012 Storms

The Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of Insurance (“Department”) Commissioner Sharon P. Clark issued an advisory on March 9, 2012 to all insurers, producers and adjusters conducting business in the Commonwealth of Kentucky during the acute emergencies following storms on February 29-29, 2012 and March 2-3, 2012.
The advisory addresses the status of funds access, mail delivery, access to policies and adjuster registration and is intended to offer guidance with respect to several issues and questions that have come to the Department’s attention.
