Comments Requested: Glitch Fix Proposed for 2008 Condo Bill

The Florida Association of Independent Agents is preparing proposed legislation to fix a “glitch” created by the passage of House Bill 601 earlier this year. The proposed changes would clarify portions of the bill relating to condominium special assessments and named insureds on condominium insurance policies.
Attached is a copy of the proposed draft as well as an explanation of the changes made in the draft.
