Jennifer Erdelyi, an Associate in the law and governmental consulting firm of Colodny Fass, has been re-elected to her second consecutive term on the Broward County Women Lawyers’ Association (“BCWLA”) 2011-2012 Board of Directors.
Along with her fellow incoming Board members, Ms. Erdelyi will be installed at a September 9 Riverside Hotel luncheon in Ft. Lauderdale, at which The Honorable Judge Barbara Lagoa, Third District Court of Appeal, will administer the Oath of Office.
This year, Ms. Erdelyi will serve as the public relations and membership chair of the BCWLA, a role in which she is responsible for growing the organization’s membership base and communicating its activities to the media, business, legal and civic community.
As the Broward County chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the women’s bar organization in the State of Florida, BCWLA hosts monthly continuing education courses that serve to educate and promote networking among members of Broward’s legal community, regardless of gender, area of practice, or other differentiating demographics.
Named to the 2010 Florida Super Lawyers Rising Star list, Ms. Erdelyi, who practices in the areas of insurance regulatory and transactional law, is also a member of the Florida Bar 17th Circuit Grievance Committee and the Stephen R. Booher chapter of the American Inn of Court.
Outside the legal community, she is embarking on her second term on the Ft. Lauderdale Children’s Theatre Board of Trustees and continues to lead her Weston-based homeowners association as President.
