Colodny Fass Lobbyist Katie Webb receives “Outstanding Lobbying Efforts” Award from Florida Insurance Council

Tallahassee, Fla. – Katie Webb, a Partner with the law firm of Colodny Fass and its Insurance Regulatory and Governmental Consulting Practice Divisions, has received the “Outstanding Lobbying Efforts” Award from the Florida Insurance Council (FIC) for helping to spearhead the passage of Senate Bill 408, which dealt with several changes to Florida’s property and casualty insurance marketplace.
Ms. Webb focuses her practice on both lobbying and insurance regulatory work, representing insurance companies, insurance agencies and related businesses before the legislative and executive branches of Florida government, as well as to many State agencies and quasi-governmental entities.
An alumnus of Florida State University, Ms. Webb now serves as an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University’s College of Law. For the past few years she has also served as host and moderator at the prestigious State of the Florida Insurance Market Summit in Orlando, which was attended by nearly 500 insurance industry policymakers, regulators and executives in 2011.
