Co-Worker E-Mail Snooper Must Pay Damages to Employer, Florida Appeals Court Rules

The ruling in a complex Florida employment law case was upheld by the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals late last month, resulting in a former corporate officer being ordered to pay damages to his former employer for having illegally accessed his co-workers’ emails.
The lower court judgment was also upheld for the employer in a related complaint of wrongful termination.
