Citizens High-Risk Account Public Rate Hearing Scheduled for November 10

The Florida Office of Insurance Regulation has scheduled a public rate hearing on November 10, 2009 regarding various rate increases requested by Citizens Property Insurance Corporation(“Citizens”) for its High-Risk Account. If approved, the rate increases will become effective on January 1, 2010 for all new and renewal policies. To view the complete hearing agenda, click here.
The November 10 hearing will begin at 9:00 a.m. in Room 401 of the Senate Office Building, The Capitol, Tallahassee.
