CFO Sink Urges PIP Reform and Legislative Action

Sep 17, 2007

Earlier today, Florida Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) Alex Sink delivered a letter to Governor Charlie Crist, Senate President Ken Pruitt and Speaker of the House Marco Rubio, urging reform of Florida’s Motor Vehicle No-Fault Law, which requires Personal Injury Protection (“PIP”).  At a minimum, CFO Sink is requesting legislation that would require mandatory medical benefits insurance and enforcement powers.

We have included a copy of CFO Sink’s letter with this e-mail for your review.
