CARICOM-Certified Lawyer Danielle Bullock Promoted to Partner at Colodny Fass; Honored by National Black Lawyers
Mar 16, 2018
Colodny Fass lawyer Danielle V. Bullock has been promoted to Partner from her former position as Senior Associate, the Firm announced.
Ms. Bullock, who focuses on insurance defense and complex commercial litigation, is a member of The Florida Bar, as well as certified to practice in all 20 CARICOM-member states. CARICOM is known as the “Caribbean Community,” and is dedicated to serving the economic and social justice needs of the region.
“Diversity is a powerful competitive advantage–especially when it comes to litigation and negotiations,” Colodny Fass Executive Management Committee Member Amy Koltnow said. “Danielle’s keen observation of cultural differences during a deposition, for example, can often substantially change the dynamics of a trial.”
Ms. Bullock is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeal.
Typical insurance claims in her caseload include first and third-party matters–from pre-suit to trial—that encompass breach of duty, inadequate coverage, misrepresentation or fraud, inadequate business practices, and inadequate communication and documentation.
Together with other members of the Firm, Ms. Bullock counsels insurers, agents and other industry members on how to avoid unnecessary exposure to litigation through better understanding of Florida law.
A graduate of the University of Miami School of Law, she also attended Wayne State University Law School, where she was a member of the Student Board of Governors, among other leadership positions.
She is a native of Jamaica.
