- 69O-166.031, “Mediation of Property Insurance Claims.” Proposed amendments would cross reference Florida Department of Financial Services’ Rule 69J-166.031, which comprehensively addresses mediation of residential and commercial property insurance claims. Whereas the two rules used to be identical, the DFS rule changed. Amendments to the OIR rule also would maintain the penalty for an insurer’s failure to appear at the mediation conference.
