9:30 a.m. — Florida Office of Insurance Regulation Rule Development Workshop.  Proposed amendments to Rule 69O-166.031, “Mediation of Property Insurance Claims,” would address the invalidity of a portion of the Rule as a result of the ruling in State Farm Florida Ins. Co. v Unlimited Restoration Specialists, Inc., 84 So. 3d 390 (Fla. 5th DCA 2012), as well as eliminate redundant language contained in the Department of Financial Services Rule governing the Mediation Program.  To view the workshop notice, click here.

Kimberly-Clark joins a growing trend in pension transfer to insurance companies
