California Consumer Group wants State Farm Homeowners Rate Reduction
State Farm has overcharged its customers roughly $78 million since at least July 2015, and should be required to refund that money, Consumer Watchdog told the California Department of Insurance last week. Insurance Journal reports.
EU Contributes $15.8M to Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility
The European Commission has agreed to contribute €14 million ($15.8 million) so the governments of Central American countries and the Dominican Republic can access to “low cost, high quality catastrophe risk insurance.” Insurance Journal reports.
