It’s map-drawing time again for Florida legislators

Scott’s tax cut plan a heavy lift in 2016
This week, Governor Scott said that he not only wants lawmakers to make a sales tax exemption on manufacturing equipment purchases permanent but he also wants to exempt the industry from the state’s 5.5 percent corporate income tax. It will be a heavy lift in the 2016 Session, Sarasota Herald-Tribune’s Lloyd Dunkelberger predicts.
