The Florida Legislature will hold its second round of Fall 2009 Interim Committee Meetings during the week of November 2-6.  The next scheduled Interim Committee Week is December 7-11.

2010 Regular Legislative Session Dates

  • August 1, 2009:  Deadline for filing claims bills
  • March 2, 2010:  Regular Session convenes
  • March 2, 2010:  Noon–deadline for filing bills for introduction
  • April 20, 2010:  50th Day–last day for regularly scheduled Committee meetings
  • April 26, 2010:  All bills are immediately certified; Conference Committee Reports require only one reading; motions to reconsider are made and considered the same day
  • April 30, 2010:  60th Day–last day of Regular Session
