Brown & Brown’s Apex Insurance buys Global Intermediaries
Apex Insurance Agency Inc. has acquired substantially all of the assets of Global Intermediaries of Eugene LLC.
The company, which does business as Global Intermediaries, has annual revenue of about $1.3 million, a statement said.
Based in Eugene, Ore., it is a wholesale operation that provides excess liability, workers’ compensation, medical malpractice, police professional and other specialty insurance lines to self-insured public entities.
Apex is a subsidiary of Brown & Brown Inc. (NYSE: BRO), headquartered in Tampa and in Daytona Beach.
