Bill Would Amend Employee Leasing Company Reporting Requirements

On January 28, 2009, State Representative Steve Crisafulli (R-Merritt Island) filed House Bill 641, the “Accurate Employment Statistics Enhancement Act,” (“the Act”) which would redefine the term “employee leasing company” to reflect reporting requirements imposed by the Act; require employee leasing companies to submit a report regarding its establishments to the Labor Market Statistics Center within the Florida Agency for Workforce Innovation; provide reporting requirements and require Rule adoption.
