A Message From Mike Colodny
Celebrating 40 years in practice, the law firm of Colodny Fass& Webb will streamline its name to “Colodny Fass,” effective October 31, 2014. The Firm’s Internet address will be www.ColodnyFass.com as of that date.
Colodny Fass will continue to focus on its fundamental practice areas of insurance regulation and compliance, governmental relations and litigation. Managing Litigation Shareholder Maria Elena Abate continues to lead the Firm’s Insurance Litigation, Appellate Practice and Employment Law divisions.
Our Firm has expanded to meet our clients’ increased needs. Providing responsive and personal service as a boutique practice will always be our cornerstone philosophy as we continue to grow.
Recently, several prominent lawyers and former insurance regulators have joined our Firm, including Wes Strickland, a nationally known attorney who will lead Colodny Fass’ hallmark Insurance Regulatory and Compliance practice from our Tallahassee office. National insurance authority G. Donovan Brown will also join Colodny Fass in December 2014 after serving as Counsel for State Government Relations for the Property Casualty Insurers Association of America. They will team with former Florida Chief Financial Officer and Insurance Commissioner Tom Gallagher and Claude Mueller, the former Florida Office of Insurance Regulation Director of Property and Casualty.
Importantly, the name change is a direct recognition of our valued clients, who have essentially been calling us “Colodny Fass” for some time now.
We are excited to present this streamlined new name that will proudly carry us into the future.
