Amendment to HB 1111 Increases Bodily Injury Coverage Requirements

An amendment regarding evidence in proof of financial responsibility for bodily injury liability related to motor vehicle accidents has been filed to House Bill 1111. 

The amendment provides for the incremental increase over a period of four years of insurance minimum requirements to establish proof of financial responsibility. 

Sponsored by State Representative Greg Evers, HB 1111, relates to various Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles issues.  A copy of the amendment, which also was filed by Representative Evers, is attached for your review.

Currently, HB 1111 is on the agenda for the House Economic Expansion and Infrastructure Council.

We will continue to monitor developments regarding HB 1111 and provide reports on the proceedings.
