9 Insurance Halloween Costumes

Witches, vampires and ghosts are classic Halloween costumes, but if you really want to be a hit at this year’s party, a costume relevant to pop culture is the way to go. And what’s more relevant right now than insurance commercials? (Except for maybe Honey Boo Boo …)

We scoured the internet for some of the best examples of insurance-related Halloween costumes for you to draw inspiration from. Whether you’d rather make your costume yourself or buy it pre-packaged in your local Halloween store, we have some great suggestions that are sure to impress and delight trick-or-treaters, coworkers, and party-goers alike.

Flo

Progressive’s Flo costume is as popular as the commercials, with Progressive even offering tips on how to dress like Flo on its website. The official Flo costume is also for sale on the site, as well as in most Halloween stores and websites.

Dressed as Flo on the right is Molly Smith, a Progressive agent with All Lines Associates, Inc. in Spokane, Wash.

Jake, from State Farm

You know what he wears: khakis. All you need to complete the costume is a State Farm polo, which is available for sale from State Farm, or is also easy to make at home. Add a telephone to uncomfortably talk on for added effect.

Mayhem

The best part about dressing up like Allstate’s Mayhem is how creative you can get. This person went with the “hot babe out jogging” look, but there’s also looks like the teenage girl in the pink SUV and the guard dog to choose from. Don’t be afraid to use props!

Aaron Rodgers

Many Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay fans are dressing as Rodgers just because they’re big fans. Kick the costume up a notch by doing Rodgers’ famous touchdown dance, now known as the “Discount Double Check” thanks to State Farm’s commercials featuring the championship-winning quarterback. Get a friend to dress as the fan in the cheesehead hat doing the dance who appears at the end of the commercials.

Maxwell

He’s come a long way since his “wee-wee-all-the-way-home” days, but Geico’s Maxwell the little piggy is still best remembered for his first appearance in the back of the minivan. Buy or make your best piggy costume, hold some pinwheels, and make sure to thank Mrs. A after you “WEE! WEE!” through your Halloween.

Kash

Make people always feel like there’s someone watching them by dressing as Kash, the “money you could be saving with Geico.” Kash has spawned hundreds of homemade costumes—spruce yours up by playing the Rockwell song from your phone.

Gecko & Caveman

Still classic Geico commercial reps, the Gecko and Caveman have become popular Halloween costumes. Find pre-made costumes online on Amazon and eBay.

Professor Burke

You may have to explain that you’re dressed as Professor Nathaniel Burke from the Farmers commercials, but it makes for a conversation starter that will carry on once people realize who you are and start talking about their favorite University of Farmers commercials.
