2008 Legislative Recommendations from the Health Insurance Advisory Board

 

On November 2, 2007, the Florida Health Insurance Advisory Board (“Board”) amended and approved its 2008 Legislative Recommendations.  The Board has just released these Recommendations and we have attached them to this newsletter for your review.  Also attached is a copy of the 2007 Florida Health Insurance Market Report, compiled by the Board on October 29, 2007.

 

About the Board

The Board is charged with advising the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation, the Agency for Health Care Administration, the Department of Financial Services, other executive departments and the Legislature on health insurance issues.  Insurance Commissioner Kevin M. McCarty chairs the Board.
